ENTRY DESCRIPTION
The 22-year-old woman is from a remote mountain village near Kathmandu. As a mother of three children, she makes a living near Pashupatinath Temple in the spring. Uncertainty and tension are part of her daily life.

Liang Li (Queenie) is a photographer, Asian culture recorder and experiencer. She got the distinction of Licentiate (LRPS) from Royal Photographic Society and the membership of Photographic Society of America. She has won several international photography competition awards. She has photographed many times in Kashmir. With a female perspective, she takes a deep dive in various beliefs and local culture, and interprets the diversity of Asia civilization with traditional visual skills. In her works, she tries to demonstrate the similarities and differences from the origin of the Non- western religion and philosophy. Liang Li has been photographing in India, Bhutan, Nepal, Myanmar and China. She lives and works in Beijing.
