ENTRY DESCRIPTION
The image shows a strong vanishing point perspective, with the lines of the two buildings converging on a bright point in the background. This automatically brings the central figure into focus. The symmetry creates calm and order, reinforcing the impression of a path on which the person is developing. The backlighting makes the figure appear as a silhouette and renders it anonymous, so that it does not represent a specific person, but rather a general human experience. The cool, reduced colour palette supports a mood of distance, clarity, and inner orientation, while the fog swallows details and directs the gaze to the essential elements.
