ENTRY DESCRIPTION
This picture was taken in the region of Limousin in France. It’s really common to see hares during the summer. It’s hard to get close to them, but this animal is not overly shy. If you see one and remain perfectly still, you might have a chance to see it up close. And that's what happened on July 5th.
I had seen this hare many times and I waited for a special moment where I could capture it with beautiful light and in an interesting position. I was on the ground, with my lens resting on my forearm, and the hare came close to me. To my great pleasure, I finally caught this 'smile'. Its eye continues to hypnotize me.
