ENTRY DESCRIPTION
In December 2024 I had a privilege to spend a few days camping next to the colony of Emperor penguins. This beautiful birds are endemic to Antarctica. They establish their colonies on the sea ice so it was really something spectacular to live in this remote place next to them. Vast white spaces are ideal conditions for my minimalist style of photography. When I saw two penguins one front, the other back to me in perfect symmetry I realized how simple and powerful this composition it is at the same time.
