ENTRY DESCRIPTION
This was taken in Hornstrandir, a remote peninsula in Iceland's Westfjords close to the Arctic Circle and accessible only by boat. After thwarted travel plans due to heavy snow, our party eventually made it there a few days later than planned.
The blizzard conditions didn't put me off!
I lay in the snow with the coldest fingers imaginable and relished every enchanting moment with the Arctic Foxes (when they appeared) despite the gruelling conditions. I particularly like this shot of the fox squinting through the spindrift at me.
Hornstrandir and its foxes really stole my heart.
