ENTRY DESCRIPTION
HELPLESSNESS
This black-and-white photograph transforms the human figure into a motionless sculpture – frozen by the weight of its own emotions. The hidden face and dramatic lighting symbolize the struggle with inner demons, addiction, and burdens that steal one’s strength and freedom. It is a portrait of helplessness, but also of confrontation – the moment when one must face their pain in order to take a step forward.

AUTHOR
Born in 1978.
A photographer from Małopolska, continuing a three-generation family tradition near Kraków. While he works primarily in commercial photography, his true passion lies in portraiture – in the encounter between two people that becomes more than an image, a trace of emotion and presence.
Music is his second creative field, which naturally led him to photograph musicians and concerts, with works published in music magazines.
In his photography, he seeks authenticity and subtle light – the kind that reveals what is most genuine in people.
