Fine Art: 3rd Place Winner 2025 (professional)
ENTRY DESCRIPTION
The photographic project "Homeostasis" flourishes once again as "Corpus Floret," delving into the world of plants. It analyzes life and biodiversity, focusing on homeostasis, the ability of living organisms to maintain stability. The artworks feature flowers created through a manual collage technique: fine art nude photographs are cut and recomposed by hand. This method, filled with imperfections, highlights evolution and biodiversity as outcomes of countless errors and random variations. Each new life form, like cellular life, emerges from a predecessor, emphasizing the connection among all living beings. Background colors echo those of the petals, forming a carefully composed field of images to represent flora.
AUTHOR
Graduated Professional Photographer at the Institute of Photography and Visual Arts of Padua. Over the years I developed myself by hand with a slow detector, blending figurative and performative Arts. I have exhibited my photographic works in solo and group exhibitions (selected through international competitions) in Italy, France, Hungary, Poland and Japan. Through the staging of bodies, I aim to capture personal experiences, fascinated by their perpetual metamorphosis. I predominantly work in-studio, ensuring that post-production does not compromise the expressive and compositional integrity of each shot.
