Fine Art: Honorable Mention 2025 (professional)
ENTRY DESCRIPTION
A solitary tree in the park near my home, photographed countless times over the years, yet always different. In this late-autumn moment, only a few leaves remain—small, quiet reminders of the season passing. Their stubborn presence has always spoken to me.
To emphasize this feeling of stillness and emotional simplicity, I printed the photograph as a silver gelatin print on matte, fibre-based Fomabrom 112 paper. Its soft surface and gentle tonal response deepen the sense of calm and draw attention to the delicate structure of the tree.
