Nature: Honorable Mention 2025 (professional)
ENTRY DESCRIPTION
Cave in the Riviera Maya, Mexico
Welcome to the wonders of Muluk, one of the latest caves discovered in Quintana Roo, Mexico. What in the beginning started with the finding of a small pristine hidden cenote in the middle of the Mayan jungle, today turned out to be a very special, delicate and unique 8 km cave system, thanks to the exploration of the “3 Kabrones”: Gerardo Calva, Ruben Arias and Paulo Sandoval.
Thank you, guys, for sharing this experience with me. It’s been an honour to be the first underwater photographer to document this ongoing exploration in Playa del Carmen.
