Street: Honorable Mention 2025 (professional)
ENTRY DESCRIPTION
Place: Botin Center At Santander (Spain).
This is a modern building in which is easy to work on a minimalistic scene, you just have to compose it in the right way.
In this scene I took advantage of the low ground. I found that there was a transparent crosswalk, so I pointed up and wait, wait for somebody to cross by the frame.
AUTHOR
It was 2018 when, during a trip to the Canary Islands, I was struck by the beauty of the surroundings. My uncle Damían Borges, a nature photographer, conveyed to me that I had a great sense of composition, even though I hadn’t studied or known anything about it. That’s how I started becoming more and more interested in photography, eventually discovering street photography through the work of Saul Leiter and Trent Parke. In this way, that initial excitement turned into a passion.
